This is a copy of the folkinfo.org forum and database, which closed in December 2012.

It was a joint project where Jon Freeman ran the site, Dave McGlade posted most of the songs (including sources) and Malcolm Douglas added further notes, although everyone added songs and notes at times. It ran for about 10 years, with the objective of having more accurate versions and source notes than Mudcat, but that goal has been superseded by 'The Full English' ( which has itself now been merged into the searchable catalogues at the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library which is more complete and authoritative than anything we could have hoped to achieve.
